Ainsley Costello is a 15-year old singer songwriter from the Pacific Northwest with a love of country and pop music. She started performing when she was seven years old in school talent shows and musical theatre productions. Since then she has studied piano, guitar, singing and songwriting. Today she performs out regularly around the Pacific Northwest.  Influenced by artists such as Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini, Cam, Hunter Hayes, Kacey Musgraves and Caitlyn Smith, she is still finding her unique style and sound as an artist.  In 2018 she performed over 40 shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.  The first few months of 2019 included shows at NAMM in Anaheim, as well as her hometown of Sarasota, FL.  Ainsley can perform two hours of solo/acoustic sets or up to three hours with the full band - the set list is a combination of original music and country-pop cover tunes. Between gigs, she is working on her first LP, due out in 2019.

Jim Costello is the keyboardist for Ainsley, he also plays rhythm guitar and bass in the band.

Jim is also Ainsley's father.

Jim studied piano composition at the University of Colorado, toured around the world with the global education program Up With People, and also studied jazz piano and guitar in Switzerland.

Over the years, Jim held various roles in the music industry including a multi-media engineer as well as a booking agent. He also toured as a working musician. He is now a full time Sales Director, but continues to actively play music with several jazz groups, a local rock group, and provides session work throughout the Seattle-Tacoma area.

His primary passion now is helping his daughter Ainsley chase the same dreams he once did.

Drums and Percussion

Clay London Beck is the drummer and percusionist for Ainsley.

As a self-taught drummer since the age of 14, it is no surprise he comes from a musical family.

Clay is actively involved in numerous musical projects throughout the Seattle/Tacoma area.

Over the years Clay has been involved with the Ted Brown Music Outreach summer program, works with students, and was the percussionist/drummer in the wind ensemble in high school.

Clay's musical experience is much more than sitting behind the drum kit. When he is not playing, writing, or recording with Ainsley, you can find him playing the bass guitar, or filiming and editing music videos for the well known Tacoma artist, Ben Union.

Even though his favorite genre of music is hard rock, playing country-pop songs with Ainsley brings out his inner sparkle which you'll find at any show where he's wearing his glittery bow tie.

Electric Guitar, Bass

Rafe Wadleigh is the lead guitarist for Ainsley.

Rafe is the director of choral music for the Middle and Upper Schools of Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma. Rafe, has more than 20 years of experience directing choral ensembles, building music programs, and performing.

Rafe also serves as chair of the Performing Arts department and provides individual music lessons to aspiring artists throughout the Pacific Northwest.

His commitment to the community earned him the role of Choir Director for the Opening Ceremonies of The U.S. Special Olympics at Husky Stadium in 2018.

Rafe began working with Ainsley as her private singing and guitar mentor when she was just 12 years old. Today Rafe performs and supports Ainsley as part of her highly-skilled backing band.
