Nashville, TN — Ainsley Costello is set to release the highly anticipated title track “EXLESS” on March 14, 2025 (from her upcoming debut album of the same name, EXLESS). The empowering anthem is bound to captivate listeners with its message of self-love, independence, and breaking free from the expectation society puts on young women.
Produced by Nickolas Wheeler of All American Rejects, and co-written with Nathan Dohse (former front man of Fight the Quiet) EXLESS blends high-energy rock with infectious pop melodies. Drawing inspiration from the fierce energy of Paramore and the catchy hooks of Carly Rae Jepsen, Ainsley’s bold pop-rock approach is both fresh and deeply personal.
“EXLESS” is a bold declaration of living life on your own terms. In the title track, Costello challenges a conventional narrative that suggests you’re incomplete without a romantic partner, instead celebrating the freedom and strength that come with embracing life as a confident, independent young woman. “This song is about embracing where you are in life right now, loving yourself, and knowing that you’re enough just as you are,” says Ainsley. “I wanted EXLESS, both the song and the album, to be something I didn’t hear growing up. There’s so much more to write about than just love and heartbreak.”
