About Ainsley

Ainsley Costello began performing in school talent shows and musical theatre productions when she was seven. She has studied piano, guitar, vocal performance and songwriting. At the age of 13 she began live performances around the Pacific Northwest, backed by a band of adult professional musicians. Over the last two years she has performed 100+ engagements in Washington, California, Florida, Oregon and Nashville, TN., including shows at NAMM 2019 and 2020 and Americana Fest 2019. At 13 years old, Ainsley became one of Breedlove Guitars youngest endorsed artists.

Heavily influenced by today's strong female country artists such as Caitlyn Smith, Caroline Jones, Kelsea Ballerini and Taylor Swift, she is also inspired by alternative genre breakers such as Sara Bareilles and Tori Kelly. At just 15 years old, Ainsley will release her debut album on March 6, 2020. Her catchy country-pop songs like Self Conscious, Fourth of July and Dumb Blonde speak to being a teenage girl in today's society but you will also find her diving deeper on tracks such as Waste My Time, and the title track, You Know I Am.

"As a music educator, I've seen a lot of singing kids. This one is special."

Rafe Wadleigh; Middle School Music Director Charles Wright Academy
